Lisbon Design Week, founded by Michèle Fajtmann, stands as an annual cultural celebration focused on contemporary design and craftsmanship. It serves not only to showcase the latest in design innovations but also as a vibrant tribute to local and emerging talents.
The second edition of the event, running from May 22nd to May 26th, coincides with the prestigious Lisbon By Design fair, ensuring an immersive experience in the heart of Lisbon's creative scene.
This year, Lisbon Design Week aspires to position the city as a global hub for modern Portuguese design and expertise.
By drawing collectors and visitors worldwide, Lisbon Design Week seeks to solidify its position as a relevant and influential international event.
Over five thrilling days, visitors will navigate through 80 venues, each displaying the best of Portuguese design and materials of local origin. Prepare to witness unique collaborations among artists, designers, craftspeople, architects, and brands.
Everything will take place in various Lisbon neighbourhoods, grouped as follows: Estrela, Lapa & Santos; Infante Santo & Alcântara; Campo de Ourique & Rato; Príncipe Real; Chiado & Bairro Alto; Alfama, Graça & Anjos; Saldanha & Arroios; Avenida da Liberdade; and Belém.
